The Space Shuttles were retired in 2011 after 135 missions during 30 years of operation. The below map shows you where the remaining space shuttles are located now. The shuttle Enterprise was made for test flights and had no orbital capability. Today it’s located at the Entrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in New York. One of the jumbo jets (NASA 905) that was used to ferry the shuttles will be displayed at the Space Center Houston together with mockup shuttle Independence (Space.com).
